Voucher informing him “<i>that your portion of Prize Money accruing from the capture of the ‘Atlanta’ </i>[an Ironclad]<i> $231.32, ‘Jupiter’ $31.75, ‘Cotton’ $3.03” while stationed aboard the USS Cimarron,” </i>minus deduction of<i> “five per cent Revenue Tax, in all cases required by the Regulations of the Internal Revenue Bureau</i>.” Boldly signed. Light age toning; some feathering of few letters; o/w VG. Accompanied by copies of his military records and descriptions of all the ships involved neatly displayed in a three ring binder.</span></p>
