US model 1879 Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 caliber, serial #229932. The rifle remains in good original condition with 20-40% original blue drifting to grayish brown patina, some scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. The stock shows most of an 1883 dated cartouche. Some dings, mars, scratches, small imperfections due to military use. There has been a groove or notch cut into the comb exactly half-way back. The action is a little loose on the lock. The bore is loose. An original ramrod is included. Est: $400 - $800

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
