US Springfield rifled musket, converted to fowler, dated 1863. Stock reduced to half-stock. Barrel is 33”, 50” overall. The hammer has been altered and repaired. A new nipple added. The gun shows a bracket for ramrod. The condition is fair showin pitting and erosion, stock shows heavy use, small losses. The buttplate is very rusted. The bolster screw is a modern replacement. The action is not working. Civil War muskets were bored out and converted and used throughout the 19th and early 20th century as game guns. Est: $150 - $300

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
