US Military mold by Frankford Arsenal, 1893 dated, .45 caliber round balls, four cavities, brass bodies, wooden handles, blued sprue cutter. The mold shows “FB” inspections. Mold is in very good conditionwith some of tap marks on the edges. The grips are very good plus, the cavities excellent. The sprue cutter retains most of its arsenal blue finish as does the screw. This seldom seen mold was used for castinground balls to be used with .45-70 government load, intended for target practice. Seldom encountered. Est: $300 - $600
