Cal.30-06. S# 545647. Bbl. 24". The rifle has been sporterized using a Model 1903 receiver produced in 1913. The barrel now has a bead front sight mounted in a Lyman ramp. There is no rear sight fitted although the bridge has been drilled for a receiver sight. The bright polished bolt has a replacement sporting handle. A Bushnell 3-9X40 scope is carried on Weaver bases. Duplex reticle. Walnut Bishop sporter stock with a monte carlo comb and right hand cheekpiece. QD swivels with a padded brown leather carrying strap. CONDITION: stock has light wear and scattered handling marks. Action is at least partly glass bedded which leaves the rear of the receiver not seated fully into stock. Metal retains most of its professional reblue except that the milled trigger guard assembly is turning grey. (25-4842/RW). MODERN. $200-300.
