This is a US Cavalry Model 1841 Ordinance Artillery 6 Pounder 1/2 scale replica from the Civil War-era, scratch-built using circa 1800's hand-tools. This ½ scale cannon shows wonderful craftsmanship with the cast barrel, period spoke cast wheels, frame, ram rod, extractor, and more. Rare piece. Barrel fuse hole not yet drilled. Barrel is 33" long with a 1.75" gauge and 28 3/8" depth with a steel liner. Overall 64"l x 46"w x 29.5"t. Wheel diameter is 28". Canon barrel can be removed. Has original sheet from the creator on the canon. Civil War, Spanish American War, Indian Wars style circa 1841-1890's.

This is a legal agreement between you, the user or buyer, and North American Auction Company. You must be at least 18 years old to bid. North American Auction Company. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. In the event of legal proceedings arising from this contract or from the auction in connection therewith, buyer consents to being subject to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Montana. Buyer also agrees that venue shall be in Gallatin County, Montana and that the laws of the State of Montana shall govern this Agreement and the parties' transaction hereunder. The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save the Auction Co., Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees), directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from Buyer's negligent acts or omissions or breach of this agreement, except for damages caused by or resulting from the Auction Co.'s sole negligence. All items must be paid for prior to removal; if storage arrangements are not made in advance of bidding on items. Storage will start March 22th 2015 and will be charged $10 per day per item. If there is a dispute on the authenticity of an item, the only professional opinion that will be considered is from a curator of a well-known museum.
