UNITED STATES, $1 silver certificate, series 1935C, serial U09502130D, Julian-Snyder, PCGS Currency Grade B, with display box. Fr-1612; KL-1455. Very scarce earlier note from this wreck; of the 2,726 silver certificates graded by PCGS Currency in 2006, just under 2.5% were from the 1935C series. This moderately circulated note (around VF) bears some edge damage and light staining along the left side but is otherwise clear with bold inking. Encased in a Lucite holder contained in a display box accompanied by a salvager's certificate and promotional DVD entitled "S.S. Andrea Doria: A Journey of Adventure." Recovered from: Andrea Doria, sunk in 1956 off Nantucket, Massachusetts
