Genl USA</B></I>”, 2.25” x 4”, published by E. & H.T. Anthony, New York from a photographic negative in Brady’s National Portrait Gallery. General Thomas has signed the CDV under his portrait with the ink flowing from darker to lighter by the end of the signature.
