In full, “<i>I send by Mr. Hoag a letter of introduction for you to Mr. Blackbourne, as you requested, and one to Mr. Jones, our Minister to Belg</i>[ium]<i>, a particular friend of mine, and who I know you will like if you meet him. He will entirely understand the contents of my letter and will give you a hearty welcome to Brussels if you go there. I wish you a pleasant journey and safe return to your many friends...</i>” Boldly penned and signed in dark brown ink. 1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.

providing that it comes back in the same condition. There is a
