U.S. model 1911A1, military issue, .45 ACP caliber, Semi-automatic pistol, by Union Switch & Signal company of Swissvale, PA. Dualite finish, composite grips, serial #1045925. The pistol shows 85-95% of itsoriginal finish, good markings, some beginning erosion and pinprick pitting. Some bright areas at the edges from holstering and use. The left side of the frame near the trigger shows an “RCD” inspection in circle.The markings are good, the edges are good, the barrel is good and unmarked but the correct type and shows a good bore. A Colt .45 auto marked magazine with blue finish is included. A good WWII issued gun with itscorrect finish. U.S. & S. were not originally parkerized. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
