U.S. model 1903 Springfield, .30-06 caliber, military issued rifle. Transition era, serial #938910. Barrel is Springfield Armory marked and dated 5-42. Rifle shows C-stock and is a WWII rebarrel and reissue. Approx. 50-70%parkerized finish, some wear at the edges, minor pitting and erosion. Stock shows some military type dings, mars, scratches, and dents and is fair to good. Some fairly heavy pitting on floorplate. Shows “P” cartoucheand other arsenal stamps on belly of buttstock. Markings good, action good, bore near excellent. A WWII veteran that saw service and field use. Est: $350 - $700
