U.S. model 1842 .54 caliber smoothbore percussion pistol by H. Aston, dated 1852. All features as standard on this issue. Refer Flayderman 6A-041. The pistol remains in original very good condition showing its original arsenal bright, some dried oil, and just slight aging beginning. The markings are super crisp, the left breech shows inspections and MS stamp for Massachusetts State. The stock is very good plus to near fine with an exceptional grain and shows WH and WAT inspections that are crisp. The butt shows a small stamp number 52, the original ramrod and keeper are retained. An exceptionally crisp Aston with just some very light cleaning long ago and almost a commercial grade stock. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
