U.S. model 1836 flintlock pistol converted to percussion with lock marked R. Johnson dated 1840. The metal surfaces show a gray patina finish and scattered light to moderate pitting and erosion. The stock is very good plus to near fine with two sharp cartouches. 54 caliber smoothbore with all features as standard on this model.
