U.S. model 1819 flintlock pistol by S. North of Middleton, Connecticut dated 1822 remaining in good condition. The pistol is .54 caliber smoothbore with a 10” barrel and attached swivel ramrod with all specifications as standard on this model (refer Flayderman 6A – 024). The pistol shows an excellent re- conversion using a correct style hammer and parts. The lock and breach are well marked. There is some scattered light to moderate pitting and erosion. The stocks show some small losses, light cleaning and minor restoration. The touch hole is slightly oversized otherwise a very acceptable example. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
