U.S. militia sword with CDV of Mass. Militia non-com with this sword showing 3 cent tax stamp on rear. This sword shows fluted bone grip and a union shield with knights head pommel and leather scabbard. The condition is good to very good with normal aging and a nice patina also the leather scabbard is good with tight seam and just some minor normal aging. This soldier is not identified but this sword and CDV has always been together in the hands of collectors. Gale Kennedy Historical West Collection. Est.: $250-$500.
