Vignette: just above the title, very detailed of a woman sitting at a telegraph w/ city and a ship in the background. Bottom center: the earth with lightening bolts around it. Two allegorical bare breasted females, one in each upper corner and union shield s in lower corners. Schmidt Litho Co. printer. This cert. is considered a rarity of 8. Located in San Francisco, they sold a device that allowed telegraphs wirelessly over short distances, initially used to communicate from shore to ships anchored in the bay.
