U.S. Winchester M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with Sling and Bayonet
Produced in March of 1943. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with "DRC" windage drum. Springfield barrel dated "8 65", Harrington & Richardson gas plug, Winchester bolt and trigger housing and Springfield hammer, safety and operating rod. The side of the magazine well is marked "LEAD/ 10.65" in electric pencil, with "159" in marker inside the floor plate. Smooth pistol grip stock with a block letter "P" behind the trigger, a faint triangular ink stamp behind the "P", checkered buttplate and a green canvas sling. With a roughly shortened bayonet, unmarked, with ribbed grip and a PWH M8 sheath.

Condition: Arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerized finish, showing a dark color on the barrel and gas tube, lighter on the receiver and bolt, with bright edge wear, a few dark spots on the receiver and small areas of pitting. Stock is very fine, with scattered pressure dents and a few small chips. Bayonet is fair as noted above. Mechanically excellent.
