Manufactured as part of US&S's sole block of contract pistols in 1943. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide is marked with the intertwined "USS" company logo and "U.S. & S. CO. / SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A.", with a "P" proof on top ahead of the rear sight. LTC Robert Downie's "RCD" proof is on the left side of the frame above the "P" stamp, and the right side has the "UNITED STATES PROPERTY M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" mark over the "No" serial number. Fitted with a Springfield barrel and a set of reinforced Keyes Fibre grips. The stamped trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, thin hammer and arched mainspring housing are all checkered, with a lanyard loop on the mainspring housing. Full blue magazine with "S" and "C-S" stamped on the toe.

Condition: Excellent as Arsenal refurbished, with 95% plus of the parkerized finish, showing wear on the mainspring housing, dents around the slide catch, and mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
