U.S. Springfield trapdoor rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, top of trapdoor dated 1884; full wood stock, iron cleaning rod, old leather sling, #339618. This gun is in overall goodcondition showing some blue on barrel and case hardened finish gone to a silvery tone on lock plate and receiver; some scattered surface rust and spots of erosion; good bore, crisp action, good markings, overall goodwood stock with traces of inspector cartouche on left side of stock above trigger and scattered mars from carry and storage. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
