Springfield percussion rifle, .60 cal., 41” barrel, wood stock in overall fair condition as repaired showing cleaned metal surfaces, replaced nipple, replaced approx. 10” section of barrel at muzzle, remainder of barrel is plugged with what appears to be a wood rod; action is working, lock plate is dated 1852, wood stock is weathered and worn with an old replacement section behind the trigger guard tang and replaced fore end tothe rear barrel band; replaced ramrod.
