U.S. Springfield Trapdoor rifle modified for movie use, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, blue finish, case hardened trapdoor, wood stock, #464407. Gun is in overall fair + condition showing approx. 60% muted blue finish tobarrel, strong traces of case color to trapdoor; brass flintlock modifications to receiver, good action, stock shows considerable wear, nicks, mars and impression with buttstock modified at comb; partialcartouche remains dated 1889 with leather sling; from the world-famous Stembridge Armory and sold previously by Little John’s in July, 2007 as Lot 341; accompanied by copy of previous catalog description. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
