U.S. Springfield Trapdoor conversion, .50 cal., 29-1/2” barrel, military finish, wood stock, #901 in overall good un-cleaned condition as converted showing a brown patina on the barrel and old re-blue on receiver and lockplate (dated 1863); trapdoor is marked “1870”; good bore, action, markings and wood; scattered spots of surface rust from long storage that should clean.
