U.S. Springfield Trapdoor Model 1884 carbine style (no saddle ring or bar), .45-70 cal., 22” barrel, half stock, #250020 in overall good condition with a grey patina on metal surfaces showing scattered pinprick pitting, good action, fair bore, good stock with nicks, mars and scratches from carry and storage, a small repaired section at the left side of the upper tang, circle P proof and a sharp SWP/1884 inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the stock above the trigger.
