U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle with socket bayonet, .45-70 cal., 29-3/4” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #370542. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing an old arsenal re-finishwith the majority of that blue remaining, crisp action and markings on the lock plate, very good bore; wood stock is also very good to fine with “260” stamped on the right side of the butt stock. The bayonet is in overallvery good to near fine condition. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
