Fine. The carbine retains 30% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The breechblock retains heavy amounts of original case colors in the protected areas. The stock is very good with a number of minor pressure dents. The cartouche is visible. Mechanically fine. A unique variation of U.S. Springfield Trapdoor Carbine.
