U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle with socket bayonet, metal scabbard and leather frog with brass US insignia, #351256. This gun is in out-of-the-attic overall fair + to good condition showing scattered surface rust over metalsurfaces, surprisingly good bore, crisp action, no markings are on the lock plate, wood shows old coating of varnish and is in overall good condition with scattered nicks, mars and scratches from carry and storage; old military leathersling; good overall condition bayonet and scabbard assembly.
