Very fine. The rifle retains 80% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance showing a smooth gray patina on the buttplate. The breechblock and tang retain traces of original case colors, otherwise faded to a silver-gray. The stock is fine with a hairline crack near the lock plate, extensive small pressure dents on the left side near the receiver and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
