U.S. Springfield Model 1871 Ward Burton bolt action rifle, .50-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, bright finish, metal cleaning rod, sling swivels, wood stock, #NVSN. This gun is in overall good condition showing a brightfinish with some scattered spots of pitting and erosion, bore is overall very good, action is good although ejector is missing; good wood with small B behind lower tang in wood and partially visible inspectorcartouches on the left side of the stock above the trigger assembly, one appears to be ESA in oval, the other is difficult to read.
