U.S. Springfield Model 1871 Rolling Block Single Shot rifle, .50 cal., 36” round barrel, bright finish to barrel, case hardened frame, iron ramrod, two sling swivels, wood stocks, #NVSN. This gun is inoverall excellent untouched condition showing a brown patina over the “in the white” barrel finish, approx. 90% original case colors on receiver, crisp markings, excellent bore and action, fine wood stocks with somescattered nicks and mars from storage; top of butt stock is stamped twice with the number “12” and once with the number “36” on the left side of the butt stock; a really nice unmolested example of this Remingtonmanufactured product.
