U.S. Springfield Model 1868 trapdoor rifle, .50-70 cal., 33” barrel, wood stock, #NVSN. This gun is in overall good condition showing an old cleaning to the barrel exterior, trapdoor dated 1870, good action, fair bore,good stock with scattered nicks, mars and scratches from carry and storage; three visible inspector’s cartouches on the left side of the stock above the trigger assembly.
