U.S. Springfield Model 1868 trapdoor conversion rifle, .50-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, wood stock, #26884. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a brown patina to barrel and silvery toning to action and lock plate; very good bore, crisp action and markings; very good wood stock with “L” proof behind trigger guard and three visible inspector cartouches on left side of stock above trigger assembly.
