U.S. Springfield Model 03-A3 bolt action Sniper rifle with correct rotation of markings to the sides of the receiver to prevent being covered by the scope, 30-06 cal., 24” round barrel, Parkerized finish, wood stock, #3412792. This rifle is in overall very fine condition showing the majority of its military finish on metal surfaces with the exception of an area around where the front sight would have been located; the barrel is dated “1-44”, flaming bomb marking and “RA”; fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, excellent stock with two circle P proofs on and in front of the semi-pistol grip, several proofs and inspector stamps on the underside of the stock in front of the receiver floor plate; “BA/JPL” inspection stamp in rectangle on the left side of the stock above the trigger assembly; green web military sling; three sling swivels present; checkered steel butt plate with compartment for cleaning kit. The scope is an M84 Telescope, serial #39739 and is in fine condition with excellent optics. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.
