U.S. Springfield M1 Garand semi-auto rifle, .30 cal., 24” S.A. barrel dated 10-42, military finish, wood stock, light green woven sling, #1000009 in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its military finish, finebore, crisp action, sharp markings, very good wood with scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage; circle “P” proof on front of semi pistol grip, ”17D” stamped on flat of semi-pistol grip as well as stamped on base of butt stock at buttplate, “S.A. over E.McF” in square and crossed cannons cartouches on left side of stock above trigger group.
