Produced July 1944, later overhauled by a U.S. Marine Corps ordnance depot, and then presented as a Trophy Rifle for U.S. Navy shooting matches. Standard sights with "HRA" elevation and "DRC" windage drums, "O-66" marked receiver heel, Springfield barrel dated "10-53", Springfield bolt, hammer, trigger housing, safety and operating rod. Operating rod and the underside of the stock are yellow pencil numbered "922" to match the receiver, with the floor plate faintly numbered "922" as well. Smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. With shipping box, a data sheet from Scott Duff Publications and a DoD Form 1149 Invoice, both of which identify this as a Secretary of the Navy Trophy Rifle.

Condition: Excellent as arsenal refurbished overall, with 98% of the dark parkerized finish, showing patches of brown patina on the gas tube and barrel, along with mild handling marks. The stock is very good, with light chips and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
