U.S. Springfield FL rifle with H & P Conversion to percussion rifle for Civil War use, .69 cal., 42” barrel, iron ramrod, full length wood stock with socket bayonet in overall very good condition showing a dark patina to metal surfaces, lockplate dated 1826, barrel dated 1862, good action, good markings, overall good stock with scattered old mars from carry and storage and partial inspector’s cartouche on left side of stock above trigger guard; bayonet is overall good and “US”marked.
