Fine. The barrel, receiver, and buttplate retain 40% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with heavy amounts of blue remaining on the barrel bands. The lock retains 70% of the original blue with the trigger guard retaining 80% blue with the balance a smooth brown patina. The breechblock and receiver tang retain traces of faded case colors mixed with silvered out case colors. The stock is fine with the exception of a few minor gouges and some minor dings and scratches, with a clear cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
