''U.S.S. Arkansas Pacific War Diary'' by Lieutenant H.A. Wilson. United States Navy: Washington: 1945. First edition quarto with unnumbered pages. Bound in gilded blue cloth. Richly illustrated with black and white photographs. The U.S.S. Arkansas, a Wyoming-class battleship, was launched in 1911 and saw action throughout World Wars I and II. She saw action at Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and was eventually sunk during an atomic test at Bikini Atoll in 1946. Minor wear and dampstaining. Excellent condition.
