U.S. Remington New Model Army Percussion Revolver
Manufactured from 1863-1875. Fixed pinched blade front sight and notched rear sight. The top barrel flat is marked "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 / E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK. U.S.A / NEW-MODEL". Brass trigger guard. Single letter inspection marks (C, W, S, G, J) are stamped on most of the components. Matching serial number on frame and barrel. Smooth walnut grips with a boxed script cartouche (GP) on the left panel and "C" inspector letter on bottom of left panel.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor pitting and spotting. The grips are very fine with some minor dings and scratches, with a series of minor pressure dents on the bottom and a few small chips on the bottom edge (mostly on right panel). The cartouche is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
