U.S. Remington Model 1867 Navy Rolling Block Pistol
Manufactured in the early 1870s on government contract. Standard Remington address and patent marking along the lower edge of the left side of the frame, "I / H.F. / (upside down) anchor" on top of the barrel, "P / F.C.W" on the right side of the frame and smooth grip with no visible cartouche. The serial number appears on the underside of the barrel directly ahead of the forearm.

Condition: Very good as arsenal refinished, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the barrel, with 20% of the arsenal blue finish remaining in the protected areas and on the triggerguard. The frame is also a mixed gray and brown, with streaks of original color. Some light handling marks and small patches of spotting are visible overall. Wood is very good, with some dents on the underside of the forearm and minimal pressure dents overall. Mechanically excellent.
