U.S. Property marked Colt 1911-A1 semi-auto pistol, .45 cal., 5” barrel, military finish, checkered maroon composite grips, #774312, accompanied by a US military flap holster and woven Mills belt; lot is also accompanied by a Naval carpenter’s wood locker containing a Ka Bar style knife with “USN” marked scabbard, 3 extra later pistol magazines, one with a bad spring, laundry bags and a lot of various paper money from overseas countriescollected by Lt. Erwin Andrasko, USN, whose name is stenciled on the locker. The gun is in overall fine condition showing the majority of its military arsenal parkerized finish with just high point wear, fine bore,crisp action, sharp markings and fine grips, WB inspected, magazine has scattered spots of rust that should be cleaned; holster is 1918 dated and both holster and belt are overall good with verdigris and exposure to sea airevidence on metal parts. An untouched officer’s sidearm, directly from the family, with additional personal effects. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
