U.S. Naval Remington-Lee bolt-action magazine rifle, Model 1885 contract, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, wood stock, #51918 in overall good un-cleaned condition with dried grease on metal surfaces, fair bore that may clean, good action; bolt cover missing; Naval inspection markings on top of receiver sharp with No. 2668; overall good wood with “214” stamped into top of stock in front of butt plate; cleaning rod retained; rear sight missing elevator; quantity of this Model made estimated at only approx. 1,500.
