U.S. National Match Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured in 1943, this pistol was one of a number of service pistols rebuilt between 1955 and 1967. The left side of the slide is marked with "REMINGTON RAND INC / SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and a "P" proof on top of the slide ahead of the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped with the faint Ordnance Corps cartouche behind the grips (faint). The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" over the serial number, "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" over a "T" and "SA" signifying arsenal refurbishing at Springfield Armory. The left side of the frame is marked with the boxed "WB" and "P" inspection marks above and below the magazine release respectively. The serial number has the late style "NO." marking. The upper right side of the trigger guard is marked "N /M". Serrated adjustable trigger, checkered slide stop, thumb safety, hammer spur and grip straps. The barrel at the chamber is marked ".45 AUTO / NM 7790313 / 838149". Micro adjustable rear and serrated blade front sights. There is a lanyard ring on the heel and is fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Arsenal refurbished with 95% plus parkerized finish remaining, some mild high edge wear and numerous scattered very small areas of minor pitting. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Unless noted above, the markings are clear. The action is excellent.
