1) Springfield Model 1913 cavalry saber. The saber has a 35" single fuller spear point blade with "U.S. 11703" on the right ricasso and "S (bomb) A/ 1914" on the reverse. Steel cupped hilt, with a checkered back strap and checkered hard rubber grips. The saber is complete with a green painted canvas and steel plated scabbard with brass drag and suspension bands. 2) U.S. 1872 Pattern Cavalry Officer's saber, 32" curved single fuller blade with no makers markings. Brass 2-branch guard and hilt, with raised laurel and sunburst designs, wire wrapped leather grip, and gold bullion saber knot. With nickel and brass sheath.

Condition: 1) Very good, the pattern saber has an excellent blade, and a leftward bend at the tip. The guard has a gray patina with several shallow dents. Scabbard is fair, with dents on the tip and throat. 2) Good, with spotting and dings on the blade, mixed patina on the hilt, and spotting on the scabbard. Saber knot is very good.
