U.S. Model 1903 A3 issue service rifle by Smith-Corona in fine to excellent condition, #4839518. Barrel “sc” marked with 10-42 date; the metal surfaces show 95%+ arsenal finish, just slight lightening at muzzle and edges, the leftside of stock shows “FJA” cartouche over trigger, faint ordinance wheel, “P” proof behind trigger guard and four small inspections in front of trigger guard in stock; the stock is very good + to near fine; a leather sling; wartime bayonetmarked “UC” with scabbard is included; the interior is fine to excellent. The rifle shows very slight use and handling. Est.: $500-$1,000.
