U.S. Model 1852 Naval officer’s sword in good condition with scabbard showing no makers markings. The hilt shows cast dolphins and shark skin or ray skin wrapped handle with double brass wire. The sword is in good tovery good condition showing just normal aging and the leather scabbard is also good with minor scrapes and scuffs. The scabbard show a good tight seam and is generally good overall. The original drags and hangers areretained. The blade is the somewhat thinner version and is probably 1870 or shortly after.
