U.S. Model 1842 single shot percussion pistol by H. Aston dated 1851 with all features as standard issue on this model. 54 cal with swivel ram rod and brass mounts. The metal surfaces show some light to moderate pitting. The markings are visible. The hammer screw is a replacement. The stock is good with some small losses, minor wear and an outline of cartouche.
