Fine. The barrel retains much of the thin original brown finish with a smooth dark bluish patina on the balance. The lock and hammer retain at least 98% professionally restored bright case colors. The rear barrel band has been polished and remains bright, while the remaining brass components have a natural dark aged patina. The stock is fine with a small chip absent from the lower right side of the wrist and upper right side of the forearm with a minor crack behind it. Overall there are some minor dents and dings, and the cartouches are crisp. Unless noted above, the markings are clear. The action is excellent.
