U.S. Model 1836 martial flintlock pistol by A. Waters dated 1839 in .54 caliber smoothbore with attached ramrod and all standard features as issued on this model. The metal surfaces show light cleaning to arsenal bright with somescattered minor erosion and pinprick pitting. The lock and barrel markings are good and visible. The stocks have been lightly cleaned with a couple of small losses and visible outlines of two cartouches. The hammer screw is a replacement made of brass. There has been a small area of wood repaired by the butt cap on the left side. The collection of William A. Gary consigned by his estate. Est.: $900-$1800
