U.S. Model 1813 military flintlock single shot pistol by S. North, .69 cal., 9” barrel, wood stock that ends flush with the front barrel band, iron mounts. This gun is in overall good condition showing a grey patinato metal surfaces with some scattered light spots of erosion and pitting; action is good, markings on lockplate are mostly visible as are the P and US proofs on the left side of the barrel at the breech; wood is good withscattered nicks, mars and some scattered old edge losses along straps from carry and storage and a crack on the left side above trigger guard that also extends across to the lockplate on the right side and a repairedsection adjacent to the trigger guard (left side) approx. 1-1/4” x ¼”; wood ramrod present with slotted and threaded metal tip (screw missing). A key Model for the collector of martial pistols as only approx.1,150 manufactured between 1813 and 1815. Est.: $900-$1,800.
