U.S. Model 1805 flintlock pistol by Harpers Ferry Arsenal dated 1807 and serial numbered 1122 on the barrel in its original flintlock configuration retaining correct hammer, lock and parts. The metal surfaces show a brown patina finish withsome scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting. The lock shows a well-defined Eagle with U.S. along with Harpers Ferry markings. The proofs on the barrel are slightly weak but visible under magnification. The stock is good with V over CWcartouche on the left side behind side plate and is only slightly light but visible. The stock shows a small chip of wood missing at the point behind side plate. Other small and minor imperfections in the wood but at least very goodoverall. The brass mounts show a nice patina. The ramrod shows a brass tip and is of the original style. A very good example of the 1805 Harpers Ferry with a far better than average stock. .
